Exciting 2017 Releases!

There are some AMAZING releases coming out this year so I thought it would be fun to post some of the releases I’m most looking forward to! Thanks to Netgalley I actually have quite a few of these as ARCs, the only problem is I still haven’t gotten around to reading them!!!

One of the top releases I can’t wait to get my hands on definitely has to beee……

• Wayfarer by Alexandra Bracken

Although I thought Passenger was a little overhyped I really enjoyed reading it and the ending of Passenger and me itching to get my hands on Wayfarer! Also the covers for this series are sooo pretty!

• Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare

Okay so I know I haven’t even read the first book in this series even though I purchased it the same week of its release, but I’m still pretty psyched for this release! who knows maybe it’ll motivate me to actually get on with the series?

• King’s cage by Victoria Aveyard

So if you’ve been with me for a bit you’ll remember my fangirling when writing the review for Red Queen, it got quite mixed opinions but I still LOVED it! Have I read Glass Sword do you ask? Nope… But again maybe I’ll be able to get back into this series once there’s a hype about the release of King’s Cage.

• Carve the Mark by Veronica Roth

Initially I was pretty curious about the release of Carve the Mark, I can’t really say excited because I’ve only read Divergent. BUT nevertheless I still felt like it would be worth checking it out… Recently I read about a controversy surrounding the villanous characters in this book and I don’t really want to get into it here. Let’s just say I might skip this one…

• Gilded Cage by Vic James

The synopsis for this had me HOOKEEEEDD. It sounded like something RIGHT up my street.

Here’s the synopsis: (taken from Goodreads:

I already have an ARC of this but surprise! I haven’t gotten to it yet…

• The Alchemists of Loom by Elise Kova

This initially caught my attention because it’s a YA, steampunk which I haven’t seen in a WHILE. I also like the premise, the synopsis: (taken from Goodreads)

• Heartless by Marissa Meyer

Everyone in the book blogging community has at least heard of Marissa Meyer or at least come across her Lunar Chronicles series! That series is still circling the book blogosphere, I really wanted to read it but I wanted to buy the whole series and marathon it. So I have yet to read it , but when I read the synopsis. To my understanding this is a Alice in Wonderland retelling focusing on The Queen of Hearts. Guess who already has an ARC of this on her Netgalley shelf… ME. I’m still yet to read it, but I should get to it soooooon!

This post was both exciting yet depressing to make! I realised I pretty much own half of the books on my list… Hopefully this will motivate me to get started on completing this list! By the way would you guys be interested in seeing what’s on my Netgalley shelf? I have over 50 books on there I think, but I’ve never hauled them.
